I cannot emphasize enough how valuable it is to be mobile. Your time is important, the world moves fast and you have daily commitments, and so if you’re going to bet, I recommend that you bet on the go!
Below are some of my most recommended apps for betting:
Bookmaker Apps
This is an obvious one. Most if not all reputable bookmakers now have betting apps, which means that you can place that quick cheeky bet out of the house when you’re on the way to meet a friend or when the odds suddenly change to your liking! The list of bookmakers we feature on our site all have apps available to download!
Live Results Apps
When you’re on the go, you might not have time to watch the match/game/race or stare at the results. Thankfully, you don’t have to! There are apps available that provide real-time results for certain conditions, such as when a game starts and finishes and of course when a goal is scored. You may want to know the result for curiosity or if you’re waiting to place an in-game bet. There are plenty of options to choose from but I personally use Flash Scores as its interface is simple and straightforward, and of course free! Flash Scores is definitely worth a download!
Sports News Apps
News moves fast and so it’s not a bad idea to always be up to date with the latest happenings. The more up to date you are, the more informed decisions you will make when placing your bets. The last thing you want is to place a bet and not be aware of some important information that could have some major influence on your game! There are plenty of options to choose from but I personally use BBC Sports and Sky Sports as they are reputable and long-standing in delivering sports news.
Messenger Apps
Not directly related to betting as such, but if you have your own betting group then you may want to share information on the go. Perhaps one of you has come across some relevant information on the news or information on bets or odds that have become available and you want to be able to place your bets immediately based on that information. I personally use WhatsApp as it has a simple and clean design and you are able to create groups to share information among several people.
